HSE Assistant

About the role

The HSE Assistant will support health, safety and environmental initiatives on a manufacturing shop floor. Working on‑site at the Tsopoli factory, the role ensures daily compliance with safety procedures and promotes a strong HSE culture among all personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and lead toolbox talks and pre‑work area inspections.
• Oversee HSE activities on the shop floor and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Respond to HSE incidents and emergencies, preparing preliminary incident reports.
• Document safety violations, incidents and near‑misses.
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and conduct equipment inspections.
• Monitor open actions, follow up with owners and promote initiatives to enhance HSE culture.
• Implement feedback mechanisms and real‑time risk assessment tools during shifts.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience as an HSE professional in a manufacturing environment.
• HND in Environmental Science.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Certification in First Aid Administration.
• Age between 25 and 30 years.
