HSE Supervisor

About the role

The HSE Supervisor will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives at our manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe workplace and compliance with all relevant regulations. You will guide HSE assistants and contractors, respond to incidents, and foster a strong HSE culture among all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide HSE Assistants and labor contractors.
• Respond to HSE incidents and emergencies, preparing preliminary incident reports.
• Implement corrective actions for violations, incidents, and near‑misses.
• Lead risk assessments and control high‑risk activities such as hot work, confined spaces, lifting and LOTO.
• Conduct incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are applied.
• Monitor open actions, follow up with owners, and ensure compliance with HSE procedures and policies.
• Oversee environmental monitoring and coordinate emergency preparedness, fire drills, and first‑aid response.
• Promote initiatives to enhance HSE culture and implement feedback mechanisms for employee engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as an HSE professional in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or equivalent.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH or OSHA.
• Advanced training in hazardous material handling and emergency response.
• Certification in First Aid administration.
