Human Resource Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team in Accra, supporting our manufacturing and warehousing operations. The role partners with business leaders to align HR strategies with organisational goals and drive people performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and succession planning initiatives.
• Coach managers on leadership development, employee engagement and people‑management best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, the Ghana Labour Act and other HR regulations.
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programmes.
• Analyse HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve productivity and retention.
• Support change‑management and culture‑transformation projects.
• Maintain accurate HR records while safeguarding confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.
• Professional HR certification (CIHRM, SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, agribusiness or a multinational environment.
• Proven experience partnering with business leaders to deliver HR solutions.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act and HR best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
