Human Resource (HR) Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resource (HR) Officer to lead recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations and compliance for our luxury hospitality and wellness operations in Accra and Tema.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard trainers, therapists, front‑desk and wellness staff, ensuring alignment with luxury service standards.
• Manage payroll, employment contracts, leave and benefits administration while maintaining accurate employee records.
• Lead orientation programmes, service‑excellence training and promote a high‑performance culture.
• Maintain staff records, GHS/FDA compliance documentation and support health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Handle employee grievances, coordinate performance reviews and foster positive employee relations.
• Coordinate staff rosters for the gym, spa and IV lounge, working with department heads to plan workforce needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, wellness, fitness or premium customer‑service environments.
• Strong knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act and related employment practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of confidentiality, discretion and professional integrity.
• Presentable and able to embody brand standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS tools.
