Human Resource Officer – Full‑time, Accra

About the role

The Capital Group Ltd (TCGL) is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Officer to join its Accra office. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the company’s HR strategy, ensuring compliance with Ghanaian labour laws and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with local regulations.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and off‑boarding.
• Administer employee benefits programmes and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with labour legislation, minimizing legal and operational risk.
• Support workforce planning and provide data‑driven insights to improve organisational effectiveness.
• Promote positive employee relations and address employee concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Human Resources and HR management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM or CIPD) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee benefits and Ghanaian labour law.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
