Human Resources & Admin Officer

About the role

The Human Resources & Admin Officer will partner with senior management to shape and execute HR strategies that support the organization’s growth. This role oversees the full spectrum of HR functions, from talent acquisition to compliance, while also managing the administrative operations of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic HR plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and talent retention initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, address grievances, and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Design and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting and appraisals.
• Identify training needs, create development programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, maintain accurate employee records, and handle HR audits.
• Administer benefits programs and coordinate payroll processing with finance.
• Track HR metrics, generate reports for senior leadership, and drive data‑based improvements.
• Oversee all administrative functions across the business.

Required profile

• Senior‑level HR professional with at least 5 years (60 months) of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives.
• Strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training.
• In‑depth knowledge of Ghanaian labor legislation and HR compliance.
• Experience managing benefits, compensation benchmarking, and payroll coordination.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor HR metrics and produce actionable insights.
