About the role
The West Africa Examinations Council is seeking a Human Resources Officer to provide strategic HR support across its offices and manage core HR functions at its headquarters in Accra.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in formulating and implementing HR policies and programmes.
- Handle staff development and management issues.
- Coordinate employee records and related HR matters.
- Manage staff performance management processes.
- Prepare HRM reports and other assigned duties.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science (Master’s in HRM is an advantage).
- Minimum three years post‑qualification experience in a reputable institution.
- Professional HR certification from a recognized institute.
- Age not exceeding forty years.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and development domains.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Internet use.
- Self‑motivated with strong report‑writing and analytical abilities.
