Internal Medicine – Nephropathy Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Internal Medicine – Nephropathy Specialist to join our clinical team in Accra, Ghana. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care in accordance with Fakeeh Care policies and regional medical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care within granted privileges and according to Fakeeh Care standards and protocols.
• Document all care provided following Fakeeh Care documentation policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and communicate effectively, collaborating with attending physicians for in‑patients.
• Perform or assist in medical/surgical procedures as permitted by granted privileges.
• Prepare and deliver medical reports to patients promptly, using the required format.
• Participate in departmental meetings, scientific activities, and the training of junior staff.
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and uphold Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct and ethical standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and complete mandatory education requirements.

Required profile

• Clear communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and non‑medical staff.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work in high‑stress environments.
• Completion of required experience as defined by the regional health regulatory authority in recognized medical centers.
• Board/Fellowship/Master level education in Internal Medicine or related specialty.
• Valid medical practice license from the regional health authority (e.g., SCFHS/DHA) and BLS certification.
