Junior High Science Teacher (Integrated Science)

About the role

Fountain Head Christian School is seeking a dedicated Junior High Science Teacher to deliver Integrated Science curriculum to students in Accra and the Tema region. The role involves creating engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and preparing learners for the BECE.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Integrated Science in line with the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans and practical learning activities.
• Assess learners’ progress and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare students effectively for the BECE examinations.
• Maintain a disciplined, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education with a specialization in Integrated Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the Junior High School level.
• Valid National Teacher Licensure Certificate is an advantage.
• Applicants who are WAEC BECE Examiners will have an added advantage.
• Commitment to academic excellence, professionalism, and Christian values.
