About the role

The GIMPA School of Technology seeks qualified academics to join its faculty as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor in Computer Science or Information Technology. The role involves teaching, research, and community service within a growing institution.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Software Engineering, Data Mining and Warehousing, Networks and Telecommunications, Object‑Oriented Programming, Database Design, and Systems Analysis and Design.
• Supervise student research projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct and publish research in international journals, contributing to the school’s scholarly output.
• Participate in administrative duties and contribute to the broader GIMPA community.

Required profile

• Doctorate or equivalent advanced academic qualification from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated scholarship through publications, teaching experience, and professional service.
• Ability to teach a wide range of Computer Science and IT subjects across different levels.
• Research interests that complement existing faculty work in networking, wireless technologies, information systems, e‑learning, and e‑government.
