About the role
The Volta River Authority is seeking qualified Ghanaian Physician Assistants to work on a locum basis across its Akosombo, Aboadze and Accra hospitals. The role involves delivering general medical services to patients and supporting the health service department in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide general medical services in the Akosombo, Accra and Aboadze hospitals.
- Perform normal, standby and shift duties as required.
- Accurately complete insurance claim forms.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Hospital Superintendent.
Required profile
- Certificate in Physician Assistantship.
- Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience.
- Completion of Internship/National Service.
- Knowledge of industrial safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
- Industrial safety knowledge.
