About the role
The Volta River Authority is seeking qualified Ghanaian nurses to join its health service department on a locum basis. The position covers the Akosombo, Accra and Aboadze hospitals, providing essential nursing and midwifery care to patients across these facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver general nursing and midwifery services to patients in the three hospitals.
- Perform normal, shift and standby duties as required.
- Execute any additional tasks assigned by the Hospital Superintendent.
Required profile
- Registered General Nurse certificate.
- Registered Midwifery certificate.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices (preferred).
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
- Health and safety knowledge.
