Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance strategy at our Accra bottling plant. You will be responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime and supporting production and business goals through effective maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all plant maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive and corrective work.
• Develop, monitor and report maintenance KPIs to improve equipment uptime and performance.
• Manage maintenance planning, spare‑parts inventory, vendor relationships, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with Coca‑Cola engineering standards, quality, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate daily with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues quickly.
• Drive implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Identify and implement technical solutions that increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture within the maintenance department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, with at least 6 years in a senior maintenance leadership role.
• Proven track record of establishing preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Strong knowledge of industrial utilities and equipment such as electrical systems, refrigeration units and compressors.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in an FMCG environment.
