Maintenance Manager

About the role

Equatorial Coca‑Cola Bottling Company is seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance strategy and execution at its Accra bottling plant. You will maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime and support production and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities across the facility.
• Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs to drive equipment reliability and uptime.
• Oversee maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, vendor management, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with Coca‑Cola engineering standards, quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate daily with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Champion a safety and quality culture in all maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering (maintenance/reliability certification a plus).
• 10–15 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, including 6+ years in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role.
• Proven experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS.
• Strong knowledge of industrial utilities and equipment such as electrical systems, refrigeration and compressors.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in an FMCG environment.
