Manager, Enterprise Commercial Operations & Bid Management

About the role

The Manager, Enterprise Commercial Operations & Bid Management will drive revenue growth by leading competitive bids, tenders and proposals for MTN Ghana. The role ensures bid governance, compliance with global best practices, and supports sales teams to secure profitable business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the bid qualification process for new opportunities (Bids, RFP, RFQ, ITT, Expression of Interest).
• Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids, tracking progress and communicating with all teams.
• Release and approve vital bid documents such as bid bonds, guarantees, power of attorney, and quality assurance forms.
• Provide in‑depth sector and company analysis to inform C‑level commercial decisions.
• Coordinate inputs from account teams, pre‑sales engineers, commercial, legal and finance groups to produce bid documentation.
• Conduct final quality checks on bid documents to ensure full compliance with customer RFP/RFT requirements.
• Archive all bid materials and forward successful bid details to relevant enterprise business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Senior level professional with at least 5 years of experience in bid management or commercial operations.
• Proven ability to deliver compliant, commercially sound bids on schedule.
• Strong analytical capability to produce sector‑specific insights for senior management.
