Manager, Portfolio Analytics & Reporting

About the role

MTN is seeking a Manager to lead the design, implementation and management of portfolio analytics and reporting across its enterprise project portfolio. The role will provide executive‑level insights through dashboards, trend analysis and performance metrics to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an analytics framework to track performance, risks and opportunities across all projects and programs.
• Design and deliver periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for Executive Committee, CEO and governance forums, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Create and manage real‑time dashboards and scorecards using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools, collaborating with IT and data teams.
• Ensure reporting aligns with MTN’s portfolio governance standards and contribute data to governance forums.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives for reporting processes and tools.
• Engage with project managers, finance and strategy teams to guarantee data quality and provide ad‑hoc analytical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Statistics, Data Science or related field; professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PfMP) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project management, portfolio reporting or data analytics, with at least 3 years in a supervisory reporting or analytics role.
• Experience in telecom, technology or large‑enterprise PMO environments is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and influence skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.
