Manager, VAS, Music and RMS

About the role

The Manager, VAS, Music and RMS will lead the growth of MTN’s digital services portfolio, overseeing value‑added services, music, and content offerings. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Services, the role is based in Accra and focuses on partnership development, product innovation and service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage development and financial performance of VAS, CRBT, music, books, newspapers and emerging lifestyle digital services.
• Define and execute product roadmaps, coordinating rollout plans with partners.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate partnership proposals, ensuring alignment with market demand and target audiences.
• Monitor partner performance, SLA compliance and conduct regular reviews.
• Maintain market intelligence on local content preferences, regulatory requirements and cultural considerations.
• Support strategy execution to drive adoption, customer engagement and revenue growth.
• Oversee technology integration with third‑party vendors, including user acceptance testing and service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital product and service portfolio management within telecom or related digital industries.
• Strong track record of building and managing strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Ability to interpret market, regulatory and customer insights to shape offerings.
• Experience in overseeing SLA compliance, risk management and governance processes.
• Familiarity with technology integration and testing processes for digital services.
