Managing Director – Solar Energy Company

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead the growth and operations of our solar energy company in Ghana. The role will translate the CEO’s vision into strategy, execution, revenue growth and sustainable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall business operations and execution.
• Develop and execute commercial and growth strategies.
• Drive sales, business development, partnerships and customer acquisition.
• Oversee finance, procurement, operations and performance.
• Build and lead high‑performing teams.
• Establish effective processes, systems and accountability.
• Identify new market and business opportunities.
• Ensure the company meets its strategic and financial objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior business or operational leadership.
• Strong commercial and business‑development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to grow a business, product or business unit.
• Strong financial and strategic understanding.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
• Experience in solar, energy, technology, manufacturing, distribution or related industry is an advantage.
