Marketing Executive

About the role

Deseret School of Design, Ghana’s leading design school, is seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive to drive student enrollment. You will engage prospective learners, build relationships, and convert interest into enrolments while supporting the school’s marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and qualify leads via WhatsApp, phone, and social media direct messages.
• Follow up consistently with prospects, handling objections and guiding them toward enrollment.
• Maintain lead records in the CRM, tracking conversations and next steps.
• Conduct cold outreach to new audiences to generate a personal pipeline.
• Create supporting content such as short videos, captions, and posts to attract and warm leads.
• Write copy for campaigns, follow‑up messages, and promotional materials.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini) to improve outreach efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Strong communication and persuasion skills with a passion for talking to people and closing deals.
• Experience in sales, client‑facing roles, or lead conversion.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp as a primary sales and communication channel.
• Organised and diligent in follow‑up to prevent leads from going cold.
• Based in Accra, Ghana and able to work on‑site full‑time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management.
• Ability to create simple video and social media content.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Google Gemini.
