Marketing Manager

About the role

The Accra World Trade Centre Limited is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of its marketing strategy, supporting the centre’s mission to integrate Ghanaian businesses into the global World Trade Centre network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy for the Accra World Trade Centre.
• Plan and coordinate activities across advertising, direct marketing, e‑business, sponsorship and literature.
• Analyse customer research, market conditions and competitor data, adjusting plans as needed.
• Provide policy direction to internal and external stakeholders regarding marketing functions.
• Manage the centre’s electronic billboard advertising business.
• Identify, negotiate and close business deals to strengthen market position.
• Liaise with business units, affiliated agencies, event managers and promotion executives to promote events and services.
• Prepare monthly financial reports showing spend, commitments and available budget for marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in international trade, economics or business administration.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in international business development, marketing or consulting.
• Fluency in French and other international languages is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong IT skills and ability to work with bespoke databases.
