Mechanical Technician – Oil Palm Processing

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will ensure that all maintenance activities for oil palm processing equipment are performed promptly and in line with the company's Standard Operating Procedures. This role is based in the Central Region plant and supports continuous production through reliable equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs on Twin Screw Presses, Digesters, and Centrifuge units.
• Service, fabricate and repair pumps, fans, impellers, storage tanks and other processing equipment parts.
• Maintain elevators, air compressors and conduct inspection, maintenance and repairs of pressure vessels such as boilers and oil palm sterilisation vessels.
• Inspect, lubricate and maintain crude palm and kernel oil tanks.
• Assist with the installation of new plant equipment.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering Technician Part II qualification.
• Minimum three (3) years of post‑qualification experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to work onsite in a plant environment.
