Medical Detailer

About the role

The Medical Detailer will promote MSI Ghana’s social‑marketing and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) products across retail, pharmacy and healthcare provider networks. Working in the field, the role focuses on product education, sales activation and relationship management to increase product awareness and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Detail healthcare providers, pharmacies, retail outlets and distributors on product advantages, dosage, usage and application.
• Promote medical abortion and other SRH social‑marketing products to public and private providers.
• Distribute and explain promotional and educational materials.
• Collect product orders and coordinate fulfilment through distributors or wholesalers.
• Maintain accurate product knowledge among providers and retailers.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor sales performance and support provider training.
• Prepare weekly detailing activity reports and ensure monthly targets are met.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced professional with a values‑driven approach.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently in multiple regions (Koforidua, Tema, Ashaiman, Kumasi).
