Medical Sales Officer

About the role

The Medical Sales Officer will act as the bridge between a healthy‑food restaurant and the healthcare community, promoting the restaurant’s meals, catering and corporate services to hospitals, clinics and related organisations. The role focuses on business development, customer acquisition and revenue generation within the health sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics and medical centres to introduce the restaurant, build relationships with doctors, nurses, administrators and other stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities, promote meal packages, catering services and group dining options, and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Distribute marketing materials, coordinate hospital‑focused promotional campaigns and follow up on leads, quotations and proposals.
• Maintain a database of healthcare contacts, track sales activities, submit weekly/monthly reports and provide market intelligence on competitor offerings and customer preferences.
• Handle enquiries, resolve complaints, encourage referrals and ensure successful delivery of catering orders or events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, HND or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, hospitality or healthcare marketing is preferred.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship‑building abilities with the ability to engage medical professionals and corporate decision‑makers.
• Valid driver’s licence and good knowledge of restaurant products and services are an advantage.
