Mid-Level Functional Consultant – Treasury & Risk Management

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level Functional Consultant to join our team and support the implementation, configuration and ongoing support of treasury, capital markets and risk management platforms for banks and financial institutions. The role involves working closely with business users, technical teams and external vendors to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from treasury, risk, finance, operations and IT stakeholders.
• Configure treasury products, workflows, limits, accounting rules, settlement flows and reporting parameters.
• Support implementation projects, upgrades, enhancements, UAT, SIT, go‑live and post‑go‑live activities.
• Prepare BRDs, FSDs, gap analysis documents, test cases, UAT scripts and user guides.
• Validate trade lifecycle processes including capture, confirmation, settlement, accounting, valuation and reporting.
• Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces to core banking, GL, SWIFT, payment systems, market data and regulatory platforms.
• Analyse issues, respond to user queries, manage change requests and perform business validation.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, OEMs and internal delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in banking technology, treasury operations or risk systems consulting.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience with treasury, dealing‑room or capital‑markets platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, IT, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong business analysis, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during UAT, go‑live and production support, and willingness to travel when required.

Required skills

• Experience with treasury/risk platforms such as Finastra Kondor/Kondor+, OPICS, Fusion Risk, Murex, Calypso, Summit, Front Arena, FIS, Temenos Treasury or Oracle Financial Services.
• Knowledge of SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting, IFRS, hedge accounting, VaR, stress testing and liquidity risk exposure.
• Familiarity with multi‑country banking implementations.
