Midterm Review Consultant for Activate Program

About the role

The World University Service of Canada (WUSC) seeks a senior consultancy team to conduct the mid‑term review of the Activate Program in Ghana. The assignment runs from September 2026 to March 2027 and will be based in the Accra & Tema region, supporting the Mastercard Foundation Impact Team and ACTIVATE project management.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the mid‑term evaluation, including data collection, analysis, and production of interim and final reports.
• Coordinate with WUSC, the Mastercard Foundation Impact Team, ACTIVATE MERL team, GESI and Safeguarding leads, and anchor partners to ensure access to data, stakeholders and ethical compliance.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, Education, Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience leading complex, mixed‑method evaluations of large development programmes, with demonstrated expertise in GESI, safeguarding and market‑systems analysis.
