National Consultant to Facilitate UNICEF Ghana Staff Retreat

About the role

UNICEF Ghana seeks a consultant to design, facilitate, and document a 2.5‑day all‑staff retreat for 101 staff members. The retreat aims to strengthen staff wellbeing, trust, collaboration, and collective accountability while aligning with organizational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prepare an inclusive, participatory retreat agenda and materials.
• Facilitate interactive sessions, team‑building activities, and action‑oriented discussions.
• Engage with senior management, section chiefs, staff representatives, and planning committee members to gather inputs.
• Support the development of a Country Office Commitment and Action Plan with clear priorities, responsibilities, timelines, and follow‑up mechanisms.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources, Leadership Development, Change Management, Social Sciences, Adult Learning, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience designing and facilitating organizational retreats, leadership workshops, team‑building programmes, or culture transformation initiatives.

Required skills

• Proven track record of facilitating team‑building and knowledge‑sharing workshops.
• Experience working with UNICEF or other UN agencies is preferred.
