People Advisory Services Staff Assistant (Entry Level)

About the role

As a People Advisory Services (PAS) Staff Assistant you will support EY's advisory team in delivering employment tax, payroll, immigration and people‑related compliance services to clients. This entry‑level position is ideal for a recent graduate eager to develop technical skills and contribute to client service delivery under senior guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with expatriate and employee mobility assignments, preparing documents for work permits, visas and residence permits.
• Support payroll‑related reviews, basic employment tax compliance tasks and the preparation of PAYE, pension and benefits deliverables.
• Gather and review client information for employment tax health checks, compliance reviews and tax audit support.
• Research tax, pension, immigration and regulatory developments affecting clients.
• Help prepare client alerts, technical updates and advisory memoranda under supervision.

Required profile

• First‑degree qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• No prior full‑time PAS experience required; internships, national service or volunteer work in tax, payroll, HR or immigration are a plus.
• Basic understanding of labour, immigration, pension or tax regulations is advantageous.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
