People & Culture Specialist – HR Lead

About the role
The People & Culture Specialist leads day‑to‑day HR services for Right To Play’s Ghana office, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy and local labour regulations. The role supports the Country Director and senior team in building a high‑performing, engaged workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning, engagement and off‑boarding.
- Maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS and SharePoint, conduct regular audits and provide compliance reports.
- Advise managers on employee‑relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions and safeguarding concerns.
- Support the development and implementation of the country HR strategy, staff budget and annual plan.
- Administer reward, benefits and recognition programmes, liaising with service providers and communicating payroll changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits and HRIS/ATS administration.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana labour and employment law and occupational health & safety standards.
- Professional proficiency in English.

What we offer
- Competitive salary of GHS 11,097 per month (before taxes).
- Paid leave (20 days annual, 3 personal days) and comprehensive benefits including medical insurance, transportation allowance, call credit, funeral cover and life insurance.
- 10 % temporary allowance (July–December 2026) and a salary review in January 2027.
