Performance Evaluation Consultant – THRIVE 2030 Ghana

About the role

Abt Global is seeking a senior consultant to lead the qualitative component of the THRIVE 2030 mid‑term evaluation in Ghana. The consultant will work closely with World Vision Ghana and VisionFund Ghana to gather insights from households and program staff.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate household‑level Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with THRIVE participants across selected Area Programs.
• Conduct Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with THRIVE program staff.
• Review and provide input on evaluation protocols, interview guides, consent forms, and sampling strategies.
• Ensure data collection follows ethical standards and implementation fidelity.
• Document findings on pathways of change, perceived outcomes, successes, and challenges.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience (minimum 5 years) in qualitative research, monitoring & evaluation, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work in rural and peri‑urban contexts, preferably in Ghana.
• Strong facilitation skills for group discussions and interviews.
