Performance Evaluation Consultant – THRIVE Ghana

About the role

The consultancy supports the qualitative component of the mid‑term evaluation of the THRIVE 2030 programme in Ghana. You will facilitate household‑level focus group discussions and key informant interviews to assess implementation fidelity, outcomes and challenges of the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in evaluation orientation and review all evaluation materials.
• Provide input on contextual relevance of interview guides and consent forms.
• Translate, back‑translate and pilot‑test FGD and KII tools.
• Conduct 14 key informant interviews and facilitate 6 focus group discussions with programme participants and staff in selected area programs.
• Document findings and ensure data quality for integration with quantitative analysis.

Required profile

• Experience conducting qualitative research, especially focus groups and key informant interviews.
• Strong understanding of development programmes and household resilience interventions.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work with local partners.
• Ability to travel within Ghana to selected area programs.
