Physician Assistant – Greater Accra & Central Region

About the role

In 2007 Sanford Health began a global initiative to create pediatric and family‑focused clinics in underserved areas. Sanford World Clinics – Ghana continues this mission, delivering comprehensive primary care to communities in the Greater Accra and Central regions. The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care, taking histories, diagnosing, investigating, treating and referring as needed, while maintaining confidentiality, impartiality and promoting health education alongside other health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to medical and health problems presented by patients, including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and appropriate referral.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and impartiality in all clinical interactions.
• Promote health education in collaboration with other health professionals.

Required profile

• Physician Assistant Advanced Diploma, Certificate or Degree.
• Demonstrated excellent client/patient relations and respect for patient rights as outlined in the Patient’s Charter.
• Experience working in a state‑of‑the‑art clinic facility.
