Plant Protection Guard (Security)

About the role

The Plant Protection Guard ensures the safety and security of Kasapreko PLC’s facilities, employees, visitors, and assets across Accra and Tema. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting patrols, and responding to emergencies in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control access by verifying IDs, signing in visitors, and enforcing visitor policies, including high‑visibility vests.
• Conduct regular patrols of the perimeter, parking areas, warehouses and other key zones to deter suspicious activity.
• Secure doors, windows and gates after hours and safeguard raw materials, finished products and equipment.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and emergencies, following established procedures and reporting to the Security Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate visitor, patrol and incident logs; record product counts on pallets during inspections.
• Provide courteous assistance at entrances, greeting staff and visitors and answering queries.

• Attention to detail for patrols, asset protection and record‑keeping.
• Capability to act quickly in emergency situations and follow safety protocols.
• Professional demeanor for interacting with employees and visitors.
