President (CEO)

About the role

The President acts as the Chief Executive Officer of Data Link Institute, reporting to the Governing Council and providing overall academic and administrative leadership. The role is responsible for steering the Institute toward its strategic objectives, vision and mission while ensuring sound financial and human‑resource management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Institute in achieving its strategic goals, vision and mission.
• Serve as the chief disciplinary officer, overseeing staff and student affairs in line with Institute statutes.
• Provide prudent financial management and oversee human‑resource functions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to advance academic and professional programmes.
• Represent the Institute externally and project its image both locally and internationally.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (or equivalent based on work experience).
• Minimum eight (8) years of senior management experience in a tertiary institution or relevant industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to inspire and direct staff.
• Visionary, goal‑oriented, and capable of fostering industry collaborations.
• Extensive experience in academic leadership, administration and finance.
• Demonstrated integrity, creativity, innovation and sound judgement.
