Private Chef

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Private Chef to join a high‑end household in Accra. The chef will create bespoke meals that reflect the family’s tastes, dietary needs, and lifestyle, while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Design and rotate diverse menus tailored to preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Source fresh, high‑quality ingredients and manage daily kitchen inventory.
• Prepare, cook, and present meals with attention to flavor, nutrition, and presentation.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Control food waste, track budgeting, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Support family gatherings, special occasions, and private events with seamless service.

Required profile

• Proven culinary expertise across multiple cuisines and dietary requirements.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation best practices.
• Experience managing kitchen inventory, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication, discretion, and professionalism within a private residence.
• Previous experience as a Private Chef, Executive Chef, or similar role is highly desirable.
• Culinary school diploma or relevant certification, plus a valid food‑handling certification.
• High reliability, integrity, flexibility, and attention to detail.
