Private Sector Engagement Expert (Space Partnership)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage companies, entrepreneurs and investors to foster collaboration in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to uncover commercial opportunities and investment gaps.
• Facilitate matchmaking, business support and access‑to‑finance activities for stakeholders.
• Contribute to policy dialogue, knowledge exchange and institutional partnerships that enhance sustainable space ecosystems.
• Provide strategic advice on private‑sector engagement and innovation pathways for the programme.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience if no degree).
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market/value‑chain analysis, business support, matchmaking, commercialisation and access to finance.
• Relevant experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector and familiarity with African contexts is highly desirable.
