Business Development Consultant

About the role

DataTrux IT Consortium LLC is seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to drive growth of its IT services and software platforms, with a focus on expanding market adoption of PhamApps and Bolvs across the automotive, health and pharmacy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and close new B2B opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to proposal presentation and deal closure.
• Establish and nurture long‑term partnerships with enterprise clients, industry stakeholders and commercial partners.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering, product and marketing teams to align customer needs with product roadmaps.
• Conduct market research to spot emerging IT trends, assess competitive landscapes and position DataTrux solutions effectively.
• Lead complex contract negotiations, draft deal terms and secure long‑term service agreements.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of B2B tech sales or business development experience within the IT/software industry, serving automotive, health or pharmacy sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 100% onsite presence at the primary office in Accra.
• Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with a global, multi‑country workforce.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding complex B2B sales quotas and enterprise growth targets.

Required skills

• Experience with modern CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Experience with modern CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
