Product and Pricing Specialist

About the role

The Product and Pricing Specialist will lead Telecel Ghana’s pricing strategy across its product portfolio. The role requires strong mathematical and analytical abilities, with a focus on using advanced Excel modelling to drive revenue growth and customer expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse product and market performance to identify revenue and customer‑base growth opportunities.
• Manage the post‑launch lifecycle of pricing schemes, collaborating with product, segment and customer‑facing teams to capture insights and implement enhancements.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end pricing initiative pipeline, coordinating with technology, finance and approval stakeholders.
• Liaise with market‑insights teams to gather intelligence, test new propositions and advise on competitive tariffs.
• Maintain a competitive portfolio that drives ARPU and customer activity.
• Update pricing dashboards with key insights for revenue and base expansion.
• Screen business proposals for commercial viability, building business cases with finance partners.
• Track, report and advise on daily KPIs such as ppm, ppmb, MOU/sub, data and voice ARPU, and revenue metrics.

Required profile

• First‑degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in customer analytics or pricing, preferably within the telecom sector.
• Demonstrated mathematical ability and experience blending commercial and technical modelling.
• Strong analytical thinking, highly organized and capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
