Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily manufacturing activities for our facilities in Accra and Tema. You will ensure that production runs safely, on schedule, and meets quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing weekly production schedules.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee production processes approved by management to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare budgets and cost reports for production activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, workers, and production units.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, products, and resources.
• Train, supervise, and manage junior staff.
• Approve routine maintenance work and ensure timely completion of customer orders within budget and quality targets.
• Collaborate with other managers to implement company policies and goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of production management, risk management, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organization, time‑management, and leadership abilities.
• Confident decision‑maker with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
