Professional Cook

About the role

Senalli Hotel is seeking a full‑time Professional Cook to join its kitchen team in Accra. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the hotel’s standards, ensuring every plate meets quality, taste and presentation expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory, rotate ingredients and report shortages.
• Collaborate with chefs and service staff to ensure timely food delivery during service periods.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated culinary skills in food preparation, cooking methods and plating.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel or high‑volume restaurant.
• Ability to work efficiently during peak hours, handle multiple orders and maintain consistency.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
