Professional Driver – Transport Goods

About the role

We are looking for a reliable driver to transport goods across Accra and the Tema region. The role involves operating trucks, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo as required.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and hours worked.
• Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel as needed.

Required profile

• Valid Driver's License (Category F).
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and road safety practices.
• Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely.
• Good communication and time‑management skills.
• Physical ability to load, unload, and inspect cargo.
