About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Professor within its Business School. Candidates may apply to any of the listed departments, including Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain Management. The role involves leading academic activities, advancing research, and contributing to community service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Supervise graduate research projects and theses.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in recognized journals.
• Participate in curriculum development and faculty governance.
• Engage in community outreach and professional service.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor.
• Minimum fifteen publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Three professional referees with contact details.

Required skills

• Expertise in the chosen business discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to secure research funding.
• Strong academic leadership and mentorship capabilities.
