About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for a full‑time Professor position within its Faculty of Engineering. The role is open to candidates wishing to join one of the engineering departments and contribute to teaching, research and community service at a public university in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the selected engineering discipline.
  • Supervise student projects, theses and research activities.
  • Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized journals.
  • Engage in community service and professional outreach.
  • Participate in faculty development and university governance.

Required profile

  • Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or related field.
  • Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) publications in recognized scholarly journals.
  • Three referees with full contact details.

    • Compensation based on the Single Spine Pay Policy, comparable to public university conditions in Ghana.
