About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for a full‑time Professor position within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The role is based at the Tesano campus in Accra and supports teaching, research, and community engagement across multiple computing disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Supervise student research projects and theses.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in recognized journals.
• Provide community service and contribute to university outreach.
• Participate in faculty development, curriculum design, and academic governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant computing or information systems discipline.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen peer‑reviewed publications.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly excellence and academic leadership.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
