About the role

Applications are invited for a Professor position within the Faculty of Computing and Information Systems at Ghana Communication Technology University, a public technology‑oriented university in Tesano, Accra. The role involves teaching, supervision, research, community service and faculty development responsibilities consistent with the rank of Professor at a public university in Ghana. The appointment follows the Single Spine Pay Policy and conditions comparable to other public universities.

Required profile

  • Must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization.
  • Must have been appointed as a Professor by a recognized university with comparable conditions.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience as an Associate Professor.
  • Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in recognized journals.
  • Associate Professors seeking promotion will first be appointed as Associate Professor to undergo the University’s promotion process.
  • Provide names and addresses of three (3) referees.
