Programme Manager – West Africa (Paternity Cover)

About the role

Conciliation Resources is seeking a Programme Manager to cover a five‑month paternity leave within its West Africa Programme. Based in Accra, you will support partners and the programme team in delivering peacebuilding activities across the tri‑border area of Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and northeast Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Provide programme‑matic, administrative and analytical support for all West Africa activities.
• Liaise with local, national and regional partners to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
• Assist the Programme Director and Programme Officer with reporting, data management and information sharing.
• Contribute analysis on regional dynamics, including the Alliance of Sahel States, Nigeria, the Mano River Union and youth‑focused peacebuilding.
• Support safeguarding practices and promote a positive safeguarding culture within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme management or coordination within conflict‑affected contexts.
• Strong knowledge of West African political and security dynamics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and stakeholders.
• Commitment to safeguarding principles and safe‑working environments.
