Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to lead and implement ecological protection and community welfare programmes in the Accra & Tema region. The role focuses on creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for local communities while safeguarding marine and coastal ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement programmes that protect the environment and improve human welfare.
• Coordinate project activities, schedule work assignments, set priorities and supervise staff.
• Conduct research, prepare studies, reports, concept notes and funding proposals.
• Provide training to field staff for effective project delivery.
• Build and maintain partnerships with national and international institutions.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Geography, Environmental Management or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in environmental or community‑livelihood projects.
• Strong knowledge of marine and coastal ecosystems, climate change, community livelihoods and stakeholder engagement.
