Project Engineer – 161kV Transmission Line & Substation Relocation

About the role

Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Limited is seeking a Project Engineer for a 161kV transmission line and substation relocation project. The role coordinates engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning activities to ensure successful implementation of the high‑voltage infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in day‑to‑day project execution and monitor schedules.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, construction activities, and contractor performance.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design submissions.
• Manage procurement activities and material delivery schedules.
• Conduct technical evaluations, resolve engineering issues, and support construction supervision.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering.
• PMP certification required.
• Minimum 6 years experience in transmission line and substation engineering projects, preferably 161kV or above.
• Experience with EPC projects and utility infrastructure development.
• Strong knowledge of utility standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remote project locations.
