QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join its AI product team in Accra. You will work daily with AI agents to design, maintain and scale automated test coverage for complex codebases in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain end‑to‑end test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Build unit and integration test suites with pytest, Jest or similar tools.
• Identify and eliminate flaky tests to keep the suite trustworthy.
• Define and own coverage strategy across unit, integration and end‑to‑end layers.
• Integrate test suites into CI pipelines with gates that block releases on real defects.
• Reproduce reported bugs as deterministic failing tests.
• Mentor the agent fleet on test‑engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to raise quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing automated tests for production software.
• Comfort reading unfamiliar code and turning it into reliable tests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
