Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

Eskay Therapeutics Limited is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to support its pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Accra and the Tema region. The role involves ensuring that all products meet regulatory and internal quality standards while maintaining robust documentation practices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assign batch numbers, manufacturing dates, and expiry dates to drug products.
• Issue and manage batch manufacturing records and batch packing records.
• Prepare master formula records, batch manufacturing records, and batch packing records.
• Issue and retrieve monthly documents and distribute formats to relevant departments.
• Review preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assess, review, and close change controls and deviations.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare the annual product quality review.
• Handle specimen signature management and incident handling.

Required profile

• Science graduate (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
