Registered Dental Hygienist

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Accra clinic on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, deliver preventive and periodontal care, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scaling, polishing and application of fluoride or sealants.
• Manage periodontal disease through monitoring and treatment planning.
• Document all patient care accurately in the practice management system.
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to coordinate treatment plans and maintain infection‑control standards.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote oral health awareness.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years recent clinical experience as a dental hygienist.
• Valid active state license to practice dental hygiene in Ghana.
• Strong ability to communicate oral‑care instructions to diverse patient groups.
• Commitment to teamwork, professional integrity and continuous development.

Required skills

• Periodontal disease management.
• Infection‑control and sterilization protocols.
• Safe handling of dental instruments and equipment.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software.
